This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use Basemo. The App is designed primarily as an on-device photo editing tool, and imported photos are not uploaded to our servers for processing.
Scope of This Policy
This policy applies to the Basemo iOS application and related support communications. It does not govern Apple's services, the App Store, or other services that you choose to use when saving or sharing content.
Photos and Content You Select
You may select a photo to create pixel-style artwork. The App processes the selected photo on your device. Your editing choices, drafts, palettes, artwork files, and preview images may be stored in the App's local storage so that you can continue editing and manage your library.
When you choose to save an image to Photos, the App requests the system permission needed to add the result. When you choose to share an image, iOS presents the system share interface and sends the image only to the destination you select.
How Information Is Used
Information handled by the App is used to provide photo editing, preserve local drafts and saved work, apply reusable palettes, complete user-requested exports, maintain reliable local records, and respond to support requests.
Disclosure and Third-Party Services
We do not sell imported photos or local artwork. Content leaves the App only when you direct an export or share, when required to operate an Apple platform service that you choose to use, or when disclosure is required by applicable law. Apple may process device and diagnostic information under its own terms and privacy policies.
Local Storage and Retention
Drafts, palettes, artwork, and related settings generally remain on your device until you delete individual items, erase local data through the App's settings, or remove the App. Copies that you save to Photos or send through another service are controlled by those destinations and are not removed when local App data is erased.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards appropriate to an on-device application. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, and you are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, Apple ID, backups, and exported files.
Your Choices
You can decide which photos to select, whether to grant Photos access, which results to save or share, and which local drafts, palettes, or artwork to keep. You can also use the App's settings to erase locally stored App data. Device permissions can be reviewed in iOS Settings.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through a server-based profile.
International Use
The App may be used in different countries. Apple and any destination you select for sharing may process information in locations governed by their own policies and applicable law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, platform requirements, or applicable law. The revised policy will show an updated date and will apply when made available.
